Lunch and conversation with Gráinne Seoige and Catherine O’Keeffe
Thursday 4th May 2023 from 12.30pm – 5pm
Put a spring in your step this May and gather with like-minded women facing a new journey in life.
Chill Spa alongside VOYA would like to contribute to the growing conversation about menopause, addressing the subject head-on by hosting a three course lunch followed by talks and a Q&A lead by Gráinne Seoige, Catherine O’Keeffe also known Wellness Warrior and VOYA representative Teresa Dalton, in the brand-new River Relaxation Room with stunning views over the River Moy.
As part of the discussion they will share their experience about the balancing VOYA ritual available at the Chill Spa which uses aromatherapy oils to massage the back of body to unwind, a soothing tummy massage, a grounding foot reflex massage followed by a facial to hydrate and boost the skin, bringing a feeling of cooling and calm easing irritation as busy minds are quietened with a blissful scalp massage.
Gráinne who is an active speaker in this area, is the perfect lead for an afternoon of discussion having produced and presented an acclaimed documentary in 2022 on Menopause in Ireland. The bilingual programme looked at the various challenges associated with the menopause and met with women across the country to discuss their personal stories. The programme was a ground-breaking vehicle to debunk menopause for Irish women.
Catherine O’Keeffe is a Menopause Coach and Menopause Workplace Consultant, founder of Wellness Warrior, and creator of the Menopause Success Summit. Her best-selling book ‘All you need to know about menopause’ was published earlier this year. She has been active in menopause advocacy in Ireland since 2018 and has worked with countless women in these years. She’s helped hundreds of companies choose support over silence including Workday International, StateStreet, Department of Health, Sainsburys, and Microsoft. Catherine is on a mission to shatter the menopause taboo, for good.
With over fifteen years’ wellness and skincare experience, Teresa will discuss the benefits of the specially designed treatment journey, touching on the benefits of seaweed and VOYA’s story of innovation, integrity, and respect for the sea. VOYA’s skincare and body care products are organic and contain extracts of wild seaweed which is sustainably hand-harvested from the cleanest waters off the Atlantic coast of Ireland making them extremely gentle and kind to all.
Guests will be invited to arrive at 12.30pm on Thursday the 4th of May, enjoy a welcome drink followed by a three-course lunch and wine, talks and Q&A until the late afternoon.
