PEACE OF MIND AT THE ICE HOUSE

We would like to assure you that the safety and comfort of our guests, staff and families is of paramount importance to us.

Due to the ongoing restriction levels of COVID-19, we have trained our staff on the best hygiene policies and implemented added extra measures for your peace of mind during your stay:

General Measures

  • We have a full time “Care Clean Team” dedicated to enhanced cleaning and disinfection of the building continual throughout the day.
  • Common touch points in the hotel are being sanitised by our team continually – such as door handles, light switches, keys, menus, handrails, lifts etc.
  • Staff temperature will be checked when they arrive on duty to insure, they are fit for work.
  • All hotel literature, magazines and hand held information has been removed from bedrooms and hotel public areas.
  • We have a “Non-Touch Policy” for our team and would ask that our guests do the same. With great mutual respect and understanding we will get through this challenge.
  • We will continue to monitor our health and safety policies as we are guided by the Irish Hotel Federation and HSE on best practice policies on an ongoing basis.
  • Staff and customers are not permitted to enter the building if they are feeling in any way unwell.
  • All our teams are trained in the health and safety measures as advised by the HSE. All our staff have completed the Fáilte Ireland COVID-19 Safety Charter.

Bar & Restaurant

  • Social distancing in our restaurant will run daily and guests will be only received in the restaurant on a booking basis. There will be no walk-in business to the restaurant.
  • A dispense bar in operation for table service to our guests in line with Covid 19 Restrictions

  • Our team members will have access to PPE and will be trained on how to use it.
  • Hand Sanitizer facilities are provided in food & beverage areas and toilets.
  • Increased Frequency of Cleaning and sanitising, door handles, tables, handrails, and touch points are cleaned several times a day to ensure your safety.
  • Menus: We will be using washable menus for peace of mind.

Arrival

  • Protective screens at reception to protect our team members and guests.
  • We are offering contactless and paperless check in for peace of mind.
  • We are offering mobile room keys, allowing guests to use their own devices as room keys.
  • All our guest requests will be conducted while adhering to social distancing.

 Departure

  • We are offering contactless and paperless check out for peace of mind.

Housekeeping

  • Training: All Team Members have undergone retraining on the latest protocols and best practice standards in relation to PPE, physical distancing, cleaning standards and hygiene practices.
  • All cleaning operating standards have been fully reviewed and updated to ensure we have robust enhanced cleanliness and hygiene practices.
  • All team members will wear appropriate personal protective equipment and are fully trained in how to put on and remove PPE safely.
  • We have strategically placed hand sanitising stations throughout public areas.
  • We have implemented a documented sanitising program in place to ensure all public area high touch points (door handles/ lifts/ handrails etc.) are sanitised on a regular basis throughout each day.

Spa

  • All Team Members have undergone retraining on the latest protocols and best practice standards in relation to PPE, physical distancing, cleaning standards and hygiene practices.
  • All cleaning operating standards have been fully reviewed and updated to ensure we have robust enhanced cleanliness and hygiene practices.
  • All team members wear appropriate personal protective equipment and are fully trained in how to put on and remove PPE safely.
  • We have strategically placed hand sanitising stations throughout public areas.
  • Our Chill Spa team have completed the Barbicide Certification.
