PEACE OF MIND AT THE ICE HOUSE

We would like to assure you that the safety and comfort of our guests, staff and families is of paramount importance to us.

All our staff are trained on the best hygiene policies, and we have implemented and added extra measures for your peace of mind during your stay:

 

General Measures

  • We have a full-time “Care Clean Team” dedicated to enhanced cleaning and disinfection of the building continual throughout the day.
  • Common touchpoints in the hotel are being sanitised by our team continually – such as door handles, light switches, keys, menus, handrails, lifts etc.
  • We have a “Non-Touch Policy” for our team and would ask that our guests do the same. With great mutual respect and understanding, we will get through this challenge.
  • We will continue to monitor our health and safety policies as we are guided by the Irish Hotel Federation and HSE on best practice policies on an ongoing basis.
  • Staff and customers are not permitted to enter the building if they are feeling in any way unwell.
  • All our teams are trained in the health and safety measures as advised by the HSE. All our staff have completed the Fáilte Ireland COVID-19 Safety Charter.

 

Restaurant

  • Breakfast Buffet has been removed from our restaurant and table service will be
  • Our team members will have access to PPE and will be trained on how to use it.
  • Hand Sanitizer facilities are provided in food & beverage areas and toilets.
  • Increased Frequency of Cleaning and sanitising, door handles, tables, handrails, and touchpoints are cleaned several times a day to ensure your safety.

 

Departure

  • We are offering contactless and paperless check out for peace of mind.

 

Housekeeping

  • Training: All Team Members have undergone retraining on the latest protocols and best practice standards in relation to cleaning standards and hygiene practices.
  • All cleaning operating standards have been fully reviewed and updated to ensure we have robust enhanced cleanliness and hygiene practices.
  • All team members will wear appropriate personal protective equipment and are fully trained in how to put on and remove PPE safely.
  • We have strategically placed hand sanitising stations throughout public areas.
  • We have implemented a documented sanitising program in place to ensure all public area high touchpoints (door handles/ lifts/ handrails etc.) are sanitised on a regular basis throughout each day.

 

Spa

  • All Team Members have undergone retraining on the latest protocols and best practice standards in relation to cleaning standards and hygiene practices.
  • All cleaning operating standards have been fully reviewed and updated to ensure we have robust enhanced cleanliness and hygiene practices.
  • All team members wear appropriate personal protective equipment and are fully trained in how to put on and remove PPE safely.
  • We have strategically placed hand sanitising stations throughout public areas.
  • Our Chill Spa team have completed the Barbicide Certification.
