Welcome to the Ice House Hotel situated on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way.  Located right beside North Mayo’s rugged coastline and the Sligo’s surfing mecca, the Ice House Hotel Ballina is perched on the edge of River Moy, Ireland’s most famous salmon fishing river. The hotel is a stone’s throw of great waves, great golf courses, national heritage sites, including the famous Céide Fields, Downpatrick Head and Dun Briste sea stack and the abbeys and monasteries of Killala.

A half hour’s drive from Ireland West Airport, less than an hour from Sligo Airport, 2 hours’ drive from Dublin Airport and less from Galway. Car Hire companies are located at all three airports and we recommend that you book an automatic car in advance of your arrival. In Ireland we drive on the left hand side, operate speed limits in kilometres and also have 3 pin plugs like the UK.
